About the project coordinator

Zeynep Büşra Toklucu holds an undergraduate degree in Public Administration from Dokuz Eylül University. Following her undergraduate studies, she received a diploma in Water Diplomacy and International Water Management from the University of Public Service in Hungary, supported by a Hungarian State Scholarship. Currently, Toklucu is enrolled in a master's program in Disaster and Humanitarian Relief Management at Ankara Social Sciences University. In addition to her academic pursuits, Toklucu has worked as an International Fund Management Specialist at the Turkish Red Crescent.

She consolidated her knowledge on sustainability and climate change by working as a European Volunteer in an eco-village in France. In the village, she learned and applied sustainable living practices such as organic farming, 3R strategies and solar energy. She also worked with the local community to learn about the effects of climate change and raise awareness on the issue.

Our Project

Our project aims to tackle climate change by empowering young minds. To ensure children and young people grasp the concept of climate change, we incorporated engaging visuals throughout the project, making the learning process more accessible and engaging. Additionally, we created materials to spark social awareness. These materials equip young people to become advocates, inspiring their families, friends, and communities to join the fight against climate change.
